I am in my 40s at the time of writing and was diagnosed autistic in January 2008 at the age of 35. In 2012 I moved from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands; I was already involved with Autism Initiatives as a service user and volunteer at Number 6 in Edinburgh and I now have the same roles at the Highland one stop shop, which is based in Inverness and works across the Highlands.
